What is the Grass Roots Investment?

What began as a Grass Roots movement, the Grass Roots Investment is an initiative to pay-off all church debt and complete much needed projects and maintenance on our campus.

How do I give?

If you want to contribute to the Grass Roots Investment, write your check  to Lake Valley and in the memo line write Grass Roots. These checks will be distributed 50/50 between Debt Reduction and Projects. You can specify whether you want the money to go to Debt Reduction or to Projects. 

(The fine print)

If you have a heart for a “specific” project, you can express that desire to one of the Elders. Ultimately the Elders will have to prioritize the projects, but when it makes sense they will honor your desire.

Can I help in any other way?

Yes!  There will be a number of the projects which will require volunteer labor & expertise. Check the project list to see if you have the skills needed to help complete one or more.

How is it going?

We will update the progress weekly.

You can monitor the progress in one of four places.

1. There is a dashboard in the lobby by the coffee pots.

2. Click on the GRI link on the web page.

3. There will be a weekly update in the “Weekly Happenings” email.

4.  We will give an update on weekly Community Update.
