At Lake Valley, we consider ourselves to be an extended family of those who are "discovering together how to live and serve like Jesus." This value of family is very important and affects all that we do. If you join us for Sunday morning Worship, you will find a casual yet diverse family. You'll see babies in the nursery and in their parent’s arms, young kids in the lobby and in learning centers, and adults of ALL ages worshipping and learning more about Jesus and each other.
Some of us like to wear jeans while others prefer to "dress up." It really doesn't matter to us what we wear or how we fix our hair because we would rather focus on the more important issues of who we are and our need to connect with others. So if you are considering visiting, wear what is comfortable to you. You'll be accepted.
This family value also shapes our music and teaching. We believe that there is no one style of either that perfectly communicates to everyone. So, we have a wide variety of songs ranging from full band rocking songs to traditional hymns and everything in between. Similarly, some teaching is a verse by verse treatment of a text while others are more themed around a topic.
What we are saying is that you should expect the unexpected. No two Sundays are exactly the same.
