JAM is back in session! JAM is a high energy bible study designed just for our kids who are in kindergarten through fifth grade. Each session consists of dinner, worship, biblical truths, games, a memory verse, and lots of fun and laughter. Throughout September, October, and November, we are focusing on a series entitled, Never Too Young. All the lessons center around young people who were used by God to do great things. We are learning about how David, Esther, Timothy, Joash, Naaman’s servant girl, and the boy with the five loaves and two fish, all followed God and through their actions brought Him glory.
One of our own LV kids is putting what she is learning at JAM into practice at her school. Amanda Springsteen approached me last spring and asked if she could have
the leftover copies of our JAM family devotion so she could hand them out at her school. Since that time, Amanda has asked her parents for help to develop a Bible club. She got her principal’s permission and is working towards her goal of sharing God’s love and truth with others. Amanda is using her voice and her life to glorify God. She embodies one of our JAM memory verses. “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers…” 1 TIMOTHY 4:12
