Lake Valley loves kids!
It has been proven that no one shapes the lives of children as much as parents. This is true in all areas of life but especially when it comes to the development of faith. As a church, we try to come alongside parents to equip them to “train their children in the way they should go” and to provide opportunities for them to develop a true community of faith. We work hard to have fun and engaging experiences but understand that our role is much more than entertainment.
Milestones that we encourage families to celebrate at church and at home include:
- Baby Dedication & Blessing
- First Bible/Faith Commitment
- Preteen Passage (My Best for You and Modern Day Knight/Modern Day Princess)
- Commitment to Purity
- High School Graduation
Classes are offered during both services for children ages birth through pre-kindergarten. Infants receive excellent care in the Nursery, while toddlers and older follow a curriculum and begin receiving their first instruction about God and His promises. Learning Center for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade is offered during first service.
All of our children, ages 3 and up, are participating in the Gospel Project for Kids, a three-year journey through the entire Bible, Genesis to Revelation.
The Big Picture of God’s Story
The Gospel Project for Kids immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gosp
el. Through the Gospel Project, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story – God’s story of redemption.
