Several years back, Lake Valley called a night of worship through prayer for women. It was a cry out before the Lord. A few weeks later, several Lake Valley women gathered at the Russell home and started seeking the Lord to see what He was leading us to do. Very soon we felt led by the Holy Spirit to start meeting together as women to pray. That is how we became the Pray More Ladies.
As we have stood together in prayer, we have seen many answered prayers. God is moving. Lives are changing. Marriages are being restored. Souls are coming to our Jesus. God is moving in so many ways. We see the results of our prayers being answered. It is such a faith builder and is lighting a fire in our hearts to stand in prayer even more.
We are believing our God for even more as we stand before Him for our nation, state, city, schools, churches, for the lost, broken, captive and so much more. – REBECCA BENEFIELD
This ministry not only helps us, but all for whom we pray. God is showing us His power in all things. His Holy Spirit is definitely working all things out for God’s glory! Praising Him is the key to seeing His best for us, even in trials and tribulations. God is so good…all the time. – JEAN BROOKS
Prayer is just conversation with the Lord. Sometimes I talk, but other times I just listen. The words of an old hymn express my heart on the subject of prayer best, “What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!” – MALU NORRIS
I am so thankful for this ministry – Pray More. These sisters in Christ are amazing prayer warriors. They are teaching me so much about praying in the Holy Spirit. – NANCY ROSS
Pray More provides me with weekly opportunities to meet with other Lake Valley women to pray for our church staff, church members, and others who are in need of prayer. I particularly enjoy prayer requests of Lake Valley children which reflect tender expectant hearts. – SUE ROBERT
What a blessing and an honor to be a part of this Pray More group of ladies, to stand before God and pray for Lake Valley members and leaders, and our country. Even the little ones that share their precious requests. We love and are loved well in this group, in good times and hard times. – BONNIE WRUBLESKY
