Tucker Lodge Work Day

Tucker Lodge Work Day

New barn doors

January started off with a flurry of activity around the Work Day at Tucker Lodge. Well, maybe not flurries of snow, but we did see some sleet for a few minutes mixed into the rain. However, this did NOT stop the men of Men of the Ouachitas from gathering together in force to tackle a long challenging list of projects to benefit future retreats and the lodge. The charge of this brigade was led by Aaron Burroughs for our outside projects and John Turner from Summit Church for our inside project. We hosted around 35 men from LVCC, 1st Baptist in Hot Springs and Summit Church in Little Rock for a time of fellowship, fortitude, and feasting to accomplish the tasks.

Our sincere thanks goes out to all the Men of the Ouachitas and sons who came, conquered and endured to the end. Because of your efforts we now have new barn doors, a commercial ice machine, storage, and a beautiful clear view of Degray Lake. Best of all, we had three different churches, over 35 men and young men, cultivating stronger relationships with each other as they toiled side by side in Kingdom work.

I am sure there were other projects that took place. The entire team and board of directors wish to thank everyone for your help. This part of the ministry takes a village sometimes and that is what our men were…a village of Men of the Ouachitas, sharing together to do Kingdom work. God continues to expand For King and Kingdom as we strengthen churches by strengthening their men and women in their destiny in Christ. May He continue to be glorified through 4KK.

Determination!
